Window Unit

This component must be used to assign window unit constructions to window geometry
before that geometry can be passed on to the 'Viper' component for thermal analysis.

Instructions:

1) Connect one or more breps to the input 'Brep'. Breps must be PLANAR or composed
of planar faces.

2) Click the Unit button and select a window assembly from the list.

3) Connect the output to the 'Window' input in the Viper component.

Custom Window Units:

To build your own window unit from material layers:

1) Click the Unit button and select 'Custom Unit: Build from material layers'.

2) Click the 'GlassLayers' button and select the number of glass layers deired.

3) Click each layer button (including any gas layers) and select a material item
for that layer.

4) If you want to save your new unit to the library, provide a unique name to the
'Name' input and click the 'Save' button.

To specify a window using overall performance properties of the unit, you may select
the 'Custom Unit: Build from entire-unit properties' option in the Unit menu. Input
parameters will appear for U-value, SHGC, and visible transmittance. This method should
only be used when specific performance levels are being targeted, or when only very
limited information is available on the glazing layers.
